Provenance

Provenance

From the cell
to the wall.

A drawing made in a prison cell has a story worth protecting. Every work leaving this studio travels with a written record of where it came from and who handled it.

01 — Studio record

Made and logged

Each work is photographed on completion and entered in the studio ledger with its title, medium, dimensions and date. That entry is the work’s first document.

02 — Signature

Signed by the artist

Originals are signed in the artist’s hand. Editions are signed and numbered, and the edition size is fixed when the plate is made — never extended afterwards.

03 — Certificate

One certificate, one work

Every sale includes a printed certificate naming the work, the buyer and the date of sale, signed by the studio. Photographs of the work are attached to it.

04 — Transfer

Packed and shipped insured

Works ship flat or in archival tubes, insured for the full purchase price, with tracking shared at dispatch. Framing can be arranged before shipping on request.
